The Trust was initiated by Sun N Sand Beach Resort on 21st March 2006, as part of it's commitment towards promoting Sustainable and Responsible Tourism. The Trust’s objective among others is to promote Sustainable Economic Growth for the Community of Kikambala through various initiatives, some of which were started before the inception of the Trust.

This Trust is set-up to enable collection of a consolidated fund from the kindness and generosity of the hotel Customers, well wishers and corporate entities, to help achieve a number of progressive projects
