A Healthy Community….

The Health Centre was started on June 23rd 2001 with a vision to provide primary health care services. This helps both staff and the community at large. To date, over 20,000 patients have been treated and 60,000 consultations have been made. This programme has benifited local people that would otherwise have no access to quality and affordable healthcare in the area. The services offered include immunization, antenatal support, family planning, growth monitoring and HIV/AIDS Counseling.

The Sun and Sand Beach Resort helps in providing medical supplies and proper equipment through the Trust. To ensure sustainability a fee of Kshs 100 is charged, which includes consultation and medication, while the resort subsidies approximately 60% of the health centre costs.
